Before quotation
- Confirm legal supplier identity, project contact, quotation currency and destination basis.
- Issue a clean drawing register, quantity schedule and current finish or reference package.
- Mark unclear items as open rather than asking a supplier to silently assume them.
Before production
- Agree the shop drawing, sample, first-article and change-control route.
- Define approved references for material, color, sheen, grain, hardware and visible joints.
- Assign who approves records and who releases goods for shipment.
Before handoff
- Confirm labels, packing protection, room/store coding and shipping document requirements.
- Confirm the site team’s installation scope and remaining information required after delivery.
- Retain the final approved record with the purchase order and inspection release.
